WH0802A1 is an 8 character by 2 lines 8x2 character LCD display. It is available in no backlight or with LED backlight options. This 8x2 LCD module is available in various LCD panel colors including gray, yellow/green and blue LCD options. WH0802A1 LCD module is built in with ST7066 controller (or equivalent). The ST7066 IC has different language fonts as options, there are English/Japanese, English/Western European, English/ Eastern European, English/Scandinavian European, English/Cyrillic (Russian), and Hebrew/Arabic WH0802A1 model has different interfaces available, it’s default 6800 4/8-bit parallel 6800 interface, also it’s optional SPI and I2C by using RW1063 IC.
