The rechargeable 6V 1.2Ah lead-acid battery with a 4.8mm faston terminal, MKC model 491460201, is a sealed VRLA AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) solution featuring gas recombination technology that ensures 99% recycling of internal gases. This type of battery is designed to deliver reliable performance in both standby and cyclic use, making it ideal for industrial and professional applications where continuity and energy security are required.
Thanks to its sealed construction and AGM technology, this battery requires no maintenance or topping up, allowing versatile installation within electronic equipment or in various environments, including critical ones. It is particularly suitable for emergency lighting systems, signage, security and alarm systems, industrial process continuity, UPS, light traction, and energy storage systems for renewable energy.
To ensure maximum lifespan and optimal performance, it is essential to use a constant voltage charging system in accordance with the technical data provided on the battery. Improper use, such as leaving the battery discharged or applying incorrect voltages, can cause rapid deterioration. During discharge, the voltage must not drop below 5.2 V. Extreme caution is also recommended when handling, as the battery contains acid. Its use is strictly reserved for industrial environments and professional applications, in compliance with EU Regulation 2023/1542.
