The 12V 12Ah rechargeable lead-acid battery with 6.3mm faston terminal MKC 491460212 is a sealed VRLA AGM battery, equipped with gas recombination technology that allows for the recovery of 99% of internal gases, thus ensuring safe and reliable operation both in standby and cyclic use. This feature makes it particularly suitable for industrial and professional applications, where continuous power supply and minimal maintenance are required, also thanks to its sealed nature which eliminates the need for topping up.
This battery is designed to be installed inside electronic equipment or in various environments, with applications ranging from emergency lighting, signalling and security systems, to alarm systems, UPS, light traction, and energy storage systems for renewable energy. Its use is regulated exclusively for industrial and professional purposes, in accordance with EU Regulation 2023/1542, guaranteeing high standards of safety and performance.
To ensure long life and optimal performance, it is essential to use a constant voltage charging system in compliance with the technical data indicated on the battery, avoiding deep discharges beyond the specified voltage limits (not below 10.4 V for 12V batteries). The battery must not be left discharged after use but recharged immediately to prevent irreversible damage. Extreme caution is also recommended when handling, as it contains acid, and all necessary precautions should be taken to ensure operator safety.
