The MKC model 491460214 rechargeable lead-acid battery is a sealed VRLA AGM (Valve Regulated Lead Acid with Absorbent Glass Mat technology) accumulator, rated at 12V and 9Ah, equipped with 6.3mm Faston terminals. This hermetically sealed gas recombination battery allows for the recovery of 99% of the internal gases, ensuring safe and leak-free operation, ideal for both standby and cyclic applications. Its robust construction allows installation inside electronic devices or in various environments, offering versatility and reliability in professional settings.
Designed for industrial use, this battery is applied in numerous critical sectors such as emergency lighting, signalling systems, security and alarms, industrial process continuity, UPS, light traction, and energy storage systems for renewable energy. AGM technology eliminates the need for maintenance or topping up, reducing operating costs and improving safety during use. It is recommended to use a constant voltage charging system that complies with the parameters indicated on the battery, as incorrect voltage can irreversibly compromise the performance and lifespan of the accumulator.
To ensure maximum efficiency and longevity, it is essential to avoid leaving the battery discharged after use by proceeding with immediate recharging; the voltage during discharge must not fall below 10.4V. Careful handling is also emphasised, as the battery contains acid. Use is strictly reserved for industrial environments and professional applications, in compliance with EU Regulation 2023/1542, thereby ensuring high standards of safety and performance.
